How To: Repost Myspace Bulletins

I have noticed and probably so have you that hitting reply yields a blank return screen in myspace - www.myspace.com.

So how do we get the codes for links and photos and movies.

Here is a quick fix, with a lengthy added extra step.

If you are viewing a bulletin and would like to repost it with links and photos etc. intact:

without hitting reply simply select all from right click menu. copy all.
NOW GOTO your blog page to post a blog paste into the text area.
there is a mini square under text are to view code. check this...
and there is your code complete with links and html code for photos and videos...
NOW COPY and return to bulletin to post.

Extra step I know, but a good has come from this.

This procedure works with any web page. If you are viewing a web page and want to post it with pictures and everything else included: simply select or highlight what you want (from that web page) including links and photos and copy ... Then go to your Myspace-blog and paste into the text area... This will get you your instant html code for your blog. Copy this and paste it to your bulletin.

Technical Background

The above only works in most people's standard browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer (or IE) (not in Firefox). It is based on the fact that webpages, Myspace bulletins and Myspace blogs are written in HTML. Myspace makes it easy to copy paste things into your Myspace blog - including pictures, links and even movies. They have NOT worked that extra functionality to their bulletins. Because Myspace-blogs also have the option to edit HTML you can also see the HTML code in your Myspace blog - and copy paste it into your bulletin.
